I'M IN LOVE WITH A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER AND ACTIVE PREDATOR WITH ANTISOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER THAT READILY MANIPULATES SITUATIONS TO HIS ADVANTAGE.

ALSO, I AM NOT AS GOOD AS MANIPULATING HIM AS HE IS WITH ME. HE IS ON TO ME, BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO BE CAUTIOUS OR WEARY ABOUT. EITHER WAY, I HAVE A SLEW OF EVIDENCE TO GET HIM FIRED FROM WORK AT THE VERY LEAST.

(+)--good
(=)--ok
(-)--bad

Breaking Bad Seasons 1, 2, and 3--(+), (+), and (+++)

this show gets better and better, and it is no longer a secret to me why brian cranston has won the emmy for best actor in a drama for the past three years.

True Grit--(+)

better than the original john wayne version, but it lacked some of the coen brother's flare which was somewhat missed, but with a western to be this captivating in 2011 is amazing in itself.

The Fighter--(=)
great acting for bale and adams, but another boxing movie seems a tad too much now--even if it is a true story--that the ending nothing spectacular since the audience is being walked through the same formula of triumphing over adversity.

Guardians of Ga'hoole--(+)

a movie about owls?....love it! however, the plot is nothing great and the soundtrack seems out of place at times, but the animation is great and the direction for the fight scenes is solid.

Modern Family--(+)

the second part of the second season began airing again last night, and this is one of the best new situation comedies next to Community and it is even on par with the writing for 30 Rock

Finally, I have two shows set to record soon...one is NBC's The Cape, just because a Batman rip-off might make up for the failure that was Heroes after season 2...the other is Young Justice on Cartoon Network...what can i say? i love me some superheroes.

Other than all of this i have been writing more and more, but this poem that i started on thanksgiving is killing me and i just want it finished.

The musical is about the artist George Seurat as he paints Un Dimanche Après-Midi à L'Île de la Grande Jatte and his "grandson's" own trials in the art community.

There is also DVD of a PBS broadcast of the original Broadway cast performing the work with Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters.

<lj-embed id="7" />

In my linguistics course I feel lost but I have yet to receive anything below an “A” on my quizzes and tests so whatevskies.

Uhmm, mon cours de français est bien. Je n’aime pas l’imparfait quand je dois écrire. Mon mot préféré est « quelque chose de louche. »

Creative Writing Poetry is great considering that I hate poetry. My first poem was about a memory chest that I likened to Pandora’s Box, and spoke of the objects inside as having the ability to imbue golden memories that jaundice the mind’s-eye. My second poem was about the Sisyphean heroes of Camus’ essay on the absurd, and kidney failure.

Finally I have an entire semester dedicated to works of Henry James, William James, and Alice James. Henry James—I’ve come to love him after reading The American which shares many parallel plotlines with Les Liaisons Dangereuse—a topic that I had the opportunity to explore in my first analytical essay of the semester.

Work:

Good

I reread what I had written in that manic high of last semester with Ryan, and wow—my narrative prose sucked. When rushed I write shit. However, I took the 25k words from last semester and edited it down to a strong 17k.

Habits and Health:

For the past five days now I have been smoking electronic cigarettes; I feel better. I smoked a normal cigarette today, and felt weak, sick, and started to sweat. The electronic cigarettes just vaporize the liquid nicotine, so there is no smell, no tar, and no lighter. They are healthier, but I am hopefully going to just use them as means to quit.

Although my lover lives in a place that I can't be

It has been awhile since I've last updated, so I apologize to those who may have worried or cared. I have been <strike>super busy </strike>forgot!

This Fall I will be at UNT for a degree I am still not 100 percent sure about, but the classes start soon enough.

Saw some movies this Summer, the only ones I recommend would be: Drag Me To Hell, Away We Go, Moon, and District 9.

Read through all of Geoff Johns Green Lantern Vol. 4. and I am now keeping up with Blackest Night in addition to the 6 current Batman series, Deadpool, Unwritten, Killapoolooza, and Chew.

Played my 360 more. Read back issues of comics, worked, and bought toys.

Ian died over a year ago, and I still can't talk with people. I don't express or justify myself anymore and won't to anybody else.

Oh, and it has been more than a year since my last attempt, and I have spent that time unmedicated, happy--relatively. Also, on 08/08/09 the anniversary of --well, I stopped smoking. My logic was to celebrate life by giving up my unhealthy vices one by one. It has been over a week and still no cigarette.

Swine Flu

First major virulent disease in Denton county since my birth, and it is nothing but a mild flu. A simple little flu that does nothing to cause mass death such as pulmonary edema or any massive GI trauma. Shucks! Well all of the schools around me are closed through May 11th.
Oh well.

All is well outside of the paranoia among the citizens.

Free Comic Book Day Tomorrow. Battle for the Cowl is not as exciting as the hype.

They fucked up the ending, and chapter 4. They sacrificed characterization for gore. They fucked up the ending; they made it simpler. They took out the improbable and left the actions--no motives.

I will buy it on DVD though.

So I cannot decided between Howard, Mendes, Fincher, and Boyle for Best Director. (I must admit that I have not seen The Reader-yet.)

I watched Revolutionary Road today and was impressed overall--considering my usual distaste for Winslet. However, Mendes made it feel like American Beauty in the 50's, but I have loved everything that he has put out.

Howard is great and Frost/Nixon was nearly flawless.

Fincher has never made a film that I hated; I only disliked Panic Room.

And Boyle--well he always entertains and Slumdog Millionaire is on par with the emotions expressed in Trainspotting.

Wow, I haven't posted in weeks.

EDIT-Winslet won two GG's tonight, and Alicia reminded me that I liked Little Children with Winslet so maybe I can look forward to seeing The Reader with a little more anticipation.

So this is the reason my Fios bill will be hire in 09?

I don't have Time Warner, I opted for Verizon Fios--but this it the biggest bunch of bullshit.

The channels that would be affected are: Comedy Central, CMT: Pure Country, Logo, Palladia, MTV, MTV 2, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV Tr3s, Nickelodeon, Noggin, Nick 2, Nicktoons, Spike, The N, TV Land, VH1, VH1 Classic, and VH1 Soul.

Viacom is 1/5 viewer share even with lower ratings?
Hmm, fewer specialized channels and higher quality content would help.
The MTV's are a mess and Nick2 is just the west coast air times--all pointless.
Get rid of syndecated shows from two decades ago.
Oh, and while I <strike>love or rather like</strike> or rather sometimes watch LOGO--having just one minor gay character in a film does not justify it being played on a QUEER NETWORK.

Nintendo Wii Woes

I wrote my Dear John letter to my Wii and traded it in for a 360. With a larger selection of titles that attract my interests I believe it will be a good match. I may pick up another Wii when the prices drop since I got mine for close to nothing. However, until the library of games improve I will hold out. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 3 along with World of Goo were the only games to hold my interests over the past year. Although I know regret my decision mainly because I wanted to replay all of the rereleased Resident Evils for the Gamecube.

OMG!

So I'm 21 since the 22nd; I scored on TPB comics, figures, and gadgets for my birthday.

Heroes is finally improving and Trublood was amazing.

I went to a strip club with my brother, sister-in-law, cousin, and uncle. Uhm, yeah--got really drunk and I had fun despite all of the naked girls.

All my family is gone now and I am once again alone at my house preparing for finals.

21 on Saturday...and all I want is:

A movie adaptation of Love, Janis with Pink.
An animated version of Sondheim's Assassins.
A Dark Tower animated series on HBO.
More horror movies based on suspense--not twists or shock or purely gore.
A new holiday song from The Killers. [Thank You Wikipedia.]
A gay person that I can stand in to be out with for more than twenty minutes.
To go back to school on campus next semester--online courses suck.

Oh, and my ex-B back in my bed.
