Spotted at the WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle, this ancient dug out canoe was smiling at me.
The museum is free to visit. It has a 180 degree domed cinema where we relaxed and watched two of the three videos currently on offer; Ningaloo: Australia's Other Great Reef and Whale Super Highway .
Well worth a visit. Bonus: the Gage Roads Freo Brewery is just next door.
