If you are interested in befriending me, here are a few things you may want to know before doing so.

& Content

» I post a substantial amount of real life stuff alongside an even more substantial amount of fandom related posts.

• The fandoms receiving the most spamtime at the moment are Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Bones, and America's Next Top Model. I may also talk about other things from my interest list from time to time.

» I rant a lot. I'm one of those people who like to get things out so she doesn't explode. You are free to ignore any posts that involve me ranting and not making sense.

» I rarely post any of my graphics at this journal, so if your intention for adding me as friend is simply for that, then you're wasting your time.  I may decide however to create a graphics journal and if I do then the link will be posted on my LJ.

» I am a lj-cutter and tagger. This ensures your friends lists aren't spammed by large pictures or long posts that may only interest a very few people. It also ensures posts on similar subjects are easy to find.

& Commenting

» I'm a serial commenter. I will comment on anything that appeals to me or anything I feel I can help with. Please don't be offended if I don't comment on something or don't reply to your comments. I do try!

» I'm occasionally one of those terribly rude people that will ask for your help in a comment completely unrelated to the entry, but you're free to ask for my help in the very same way. Can't be having hypocrites up in here, can we?

& Friending

» I am less likely to add you as a friend in return if you:

• can't use proper English. By this I mean, no txt spk, sTiCkY cApS or terrible punctuation. I don't mind if English is your second language, but there's no excuse for crappy typing trends.
• do not like any of the fandoms I belong to and may post about.
• are an LJ friend whore (meaning you add people for the sake of having friends).
• don't appreciate advice, whether you asked for it or not. It's in my nature to want to help, so if I feel I can, I will damn well try.
• only want me to make graphics for you or help with your layout. I don't mind helping, but if that's all that I seem to be doing for you, I will cut you. With a bread & butter knife.
• Know you in real life and see you as well as interact with you on a daily basis

» Although LiveJournal notifies me about new people adding me, I'd really appreciate it if you comment (on this post) before you add me! Just to make sure. That way, if I don't add you back, you have more than enough reason to call me a skank ho bitch or whatever you feel like calling me. I usually add everyone back, unless you're extremely obnoxious or we have very little to nothing in common.

» If I know you in real life and chose not to add you, please do not be offended.  I tend to rant and bitch in my livejournal because it's my means of letting out my emotions and in an effort to keep my life drama free I'd rather not create an issue over something that I've been over decades ago.
