[ Unlike Haruhi's usual fired-up voice and her irritation, Haruhi is in fact solemn, she feelts upset, though she's still suspicious. ]

You guys are all idiots to have fallen for that 'dream'. Of course, I said yes not because I wanted to save this world or anything...!

Right, anyway. This should be typical. It won't last long. At the very least it'll last a week. ... Next week's Christmas, after all.

[ Haruhi Suzumiya is sitting on a swing, both hands holding the metal bars that hold it up, as she sings a song that she sang once before, though slower... and sadder.  ]

OPTION C: ACTION - mayfield high

[ And during school, Haruhi is going to try her best to avoid people she knows, though she'll still be at the clubroom. She's taken down the "SOS Brigade" sign for the time being, so really, it's just a literary clubroom. With a bunch of Christmas decorations. ]

[ In the afternoon, Haruhi picks up the phone, and of course, it's after her short chat with Kyon. ]

So, Mayfield's doing its work again, huh? That's fine by me, it makes things a lot more interesting here, anyway. Besides, this is probably only the prelude to something bigger, so don't worry too much about it.

Thankfully, though, I have warm clothes, though I'll probably need some heat. So! I have a proposition: anyone who has any sort of firepower will be given a little gift from me after this whole 'event' is done and over with. Or you could ask for a favor.

I'll be sure to give it to you as soon as possible!

And by the way, as usual- I'm still recruiting Brigade members for the SOS Brigade, so please contact me if you want to join! As for Secret Santa sign ups, I have the list up - you should have already gotten the person you have to gift!

I'm still drafting up some Mayfield information, and I feel that it's still lacking, so if you guys know anything that I don't already have, just tell me, and I'll add it.

[ Haruhi is at the park, sitting on a swing. After a few moments of swinging, she'll stop the swing, and take out a sewing kit, beginning to knit a green sweater. ]

Stupid.   [ And as she knits, she's watching the other people. Sure, she's wearing clothes that are inappropriate for this kind of weather, but it's not like she cares. Much. ]

[ Just before school starts in the morning, Haruhi will pick up the phone, sounding quite excited! ]

Attention, Mayfield! This is a public service announcement -- that's right, a PSA to everyone here! I know that many of you have been here for months, and maybe even a few years, but there's no need to fret!

I've decided to be really generous this time, so you all should be grateful to me, the great Haruhi Suzumiya, the brigade chief of the S.O.S. Brigade! Anyway, I've decided to compile information about this town, and even though it's not done yet, I'm willing to take your input! If you have any theories, names, and past events that you remember -- just either call me back with a filter or visit me at 916 Bilko Boulevard! 

Other than that, I'm also going to be recruiting Brigade members! If you're interested in joining the Brigade, just call me back, and I'll get right back to you. ... I don't care if you're an ordinary human right now, but you better not be dull and boring like the idiot Kyon who lives next door!

Applications for Brigade members will be open until Christmas, since that's around the time new people stop coming in. 

Anyway! Now that it's snowing and Christmas is coming up, I have two things in mind. First! The S.O.S. Brigade will be holding a Secret Santa that's open to everyone in Mayfield! I'll assign everyone who signs up a person by Friday, so keep your eyes open! And the person who gives the most amazing gift will get a surprise from me!  [ Which means you better keep on your toes.. ]  And the person with the worst gift will get a penalty!

And second! All S.O.S Brigade members are required to participate, no exceptions.

[ Haruhi is in the clubroom, writing down important information about Mayfield. She's been at this for about half an hour or so.. Also, for those visiting the clubroom, it's decorated with Christmas stuff, from wreathes, lights, and even a Christmas tree! ]

... Hm. It still feels lacking.  [ And maybe she'll just go and bother Kyon later about more details! But feel free to bother her. ]

OPTION C: ACTION - everywhere in mayfield

[ And after school, Haruhi will be sneaking up on people and hitting them with snowballs! ... Will you get hit?  ]

OPTION A: ACTION - streets of mayfield

[ Today, Haruhi will be roaming around the streets, as usual, but she doesn't seem too enthusiastic about it. In fact, she may be crashing into things and hitting people, who, to her, being a victim to the mushrooms, she sees Mayfield normally, but without people or cars, or anything. To Haruhi Suzumiya, Mayfield is completely barren today. ]

[ Haruhi hasn't been to any of her classes today. She decided to ditch because it's too lonely to go to school on her own. Haruhi hates being alone more than anything. But she's hoping that someone would at least show up at the clubroom.. right? She'll just be sitting in her chair, looking outside the window, not really paying attention.]

... Stupid.

OPTION C: ACTION - outside of 916 bilko blvd.

[ After everything, Haruhi will be sitting outside of her house, feeling upset. No, she's not crying, what are you people talking about? Her face is hung low, so maybe you might have to talk to her..  ]
