Austin Schmidt
Vice President, Central Region
After graduating from the University of Arizona, Austin Schmidt started his career with SDB as an estimator before transitioning into project management, where he oversaw various projects in Arizona. Seeking new challenges (and some good BBQ), Austin moved to the SDB office in Dallas, TX. There, he continues to manage construction deadlines while embracing the local culture and perfecting his Texan drawl.
Outside of work, Austin is an adventurer at heart. He loves traveling with friends and family to unique destinations, frequents the gym and even runs the occasional marathon. Whether he’s out hunting, snowboarding, or exploring the great outdoors, Austin is always up for an adventure.
