Scudo ist wirklich einfach. Ein Klick zur Installation, es läuft automatisch beim Benutzer-Login, es bleibt in einer Ecke der macOS-Menüleiste, nahe der Uhr. Es benötigt keine Art von Konfiguration oder Wartung, da alles automatisiert ist. Scudo kann als völlig stille Firewall verwendet werden oder so eingerichtet werden, dass eine Benutzerinteraktion erforderlich ist, wenn ein neuer offener Port gefunden wird oder wenn eine App versucht, eine Verbindung zum Netzwerk herzustellen. Die Nutzung ist viel einfacher als bei Murus oder Vallum, alle Funktionen und Steuerungen sind in einem einzigen Fenster gruppiert, in dem sowohl eingehende als auch ausgehende Firewall-Regeln angezeigt werden. Alle Änderungen werden sofort angewendet. Scudo kann Prozesse und Apps sicher anhand ihres Signatur-Fingerabdrucks identifizieren, anstatt des absoluten Pfads. This is an excellent program. Easy to install and use. It can give control similar to Little Snitch, but much easier (using the "Ask" option). I'm hoping it would catch any ransomware trying to phone home before my anti-virus finds it for instance; Scudo seems to be catching everything so far. The asks from using the Ask on Everything profile requires a few hours of usage until most of the asks are done. Once "broken in", name and save your profile. Lots of pre-made profiles to choose from, though. There is a nice little traffic monitoring window you can open to watch your trafic should you choose. If you happen to over-restrict, just open up the configuration window, enter the admin. password to unlock, and click the "pass" option for the restriction. I opted to have little windows open, with a little ding sound, to let me know a new connection is being attempted. Right there, click pass or block, and how long .. easy. Hard to go wrong, especially for $10.

Scudo 1.0.1 Awesome app. Little Snitch and Hands Off! start to look around nervously. Many thanks to the developer for his generosity. An application of this level and for such a ridiculous price is something new. From now on, Scudo is on my list of Mac OS app favorites. I hope the application will not be abandoned and will only improve. Hats off to the developer.

(Beta 8) Installs like a charm, setup wizard clear and concise, as far as I can tell after a few days it does what it says and says what it does. In comparison to others, Scudo is faburama. Full 5 stars.

Wow, this is great and I love it. Easy to install and easy to use. Thank you very much.
Very good control over ingoing and outgoing traffic and a good network monitor and the ability to take snapshots. IPs can be banned via lists. There's a live view of what's being blocked or passed behind the scenes within Scudo. Very nice interface and you can choose either dark or light or same as OS. A lock is shown at the bottom to prevent changes. That's a good idea! If you have Murus like me remember to uninstall the pf-scripts before installing Scudo. There is also good documentation as a PDF so you can get the most out of this.
There's even more to explore. I think it's great and worth 5 stars. I hope this gets further development! ???

So if I understand well, when murus and Vallum are already present this is unnecessary, As per dev infos : "Scudo is a hybrid firewall for macOS that combines an inbound network-layer packet filter with an outbound application-layer firewall." = Murus + Vallum
Is he trying somehow to kill its 2 others creations? whats up?
