Richard Baxter

Richard Baxter (1615–1691) was an English Puritan pastor, theologian, and devotional writer, best known for The Reformed Pastor. Serving most of his ministry in Kidderminster, Baxter labored tirelessly for pastoral reform, personal holiness, and the careful shepherding of souls. A prolific author, he wrote on theology, Christian living, church unity, and pastoral care, combining deep doctrinal seriousness with practical concern for everyday faith.
