John Bell

John Bell

John Bell was a British Baptist Missionary Society worker who reinforced Wathen Station on the lower Congo in 1895, running a large dispensary and marrying fellow missionary Jakoba Feisser.

His eyewitness narrative A Miracle of African Missions (1900) became a mission‑circle classic.

In 1905 Bell transferred to the new BMS field in Shaanxi, China, where he continued combining medical aid with evangelism; records trace his service into the late 1910s.
