March Madness
But the fun kind, not the basketball kind
We are quickly approaching magazine release! Get ready for Volume 39 which releases in Denver on April 4 and April 25 in Albuquerque. Magazines came in on March 27, and needless to say, the staff is excited!

With that being said, the beginning of March was filled with final page proofs and copyediting (and copyediting more). During the process, we got to tour Starline Printing, the printing company that prints Scribendi. Staff watched as books were printed, cut, and bound. We also got to see the building’s old newspaper press.
You too could experience the joys of Scribendi printing if you join the staff for next year!

This year's WRHC conference is being hosted by the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
Events Lab, MSU Campus, Denver, CO
The Events Lab is located above Degree Brewpub, connected by a hallway to the hotel.
Albuquerque (4/25/2025, 6:00-8:00 pm):
Our local release will be hosted at the UNM Honors College forum.

You may have seen a newsletter recently talking about the exciting adventure that is being a Scribendi staff member. If not, go check it out. Our current staff is amazing, but who’s to say our next staff won’t be even better? Our staff applications are still open.
What Comes Next?
Scribendi staff is headed to the Western Regional Honors Conference! On Thursday, a dedicated group of travelers will traverse their way to Denver. We will be having a release party where some of our WRHC judges and many of our contributors will be speaking. Some of our staff (and faithful editors) are presenting at the conference as well. We hope to see some of our loyal readers and submitters there.
