EEEE! Look what happened this morning! Adam Horowitz (Once Upon a Time co creator) runs a fan art comp weekly. I won!

This is so bizarre, coming from back in the day of porny Prison Break art that I was sure no one associated with the show would see, to this new era where creators and actors interact with fans through social media and see everything. So I'm definitely more aware of that now. I haven't drawn as much skin as I used to. (Oh, but there's been some).

I love it when a good ship inspires a saucy drawing! Captain Hook/Emma Swan done in charcoal.
I'm not terribly happy with it, was ready to burn it last night but I figured it would be a waste of all the time I had already spent.

Emma Swan/Killian Jones aka Captain Hook. It's charcoal and pastel.

I was thinking of putting him in an olde scrollwork frame and telling visitors he's an ancestor. I could keep a replica necklace to pull out as proof.

Hi guys! Long time no update. I'll get there but I have a new shiny show! msgenevieves fault. Once Upon a Time. You need to watch from the start and it's definitely easy to marathon. For a U.S production that's filmed in Vancouver, it has a heap of Aussies and Brits. And a really sexy Sheriff and Pirate.
I did some fan art to express my love.

And from the Paley Center this weekend, where David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson did a lot of interviews and fan stuff. This about the possibility of a third movie:

David said: ‘I think Chris [Carter, The X-Files creator] is working on a script. Chris is shooting a pilot right now, so he might not be working on a script, but he claims to be working on a script, and if he does do that and Fox wants to make it … Gillian will do it, I will do it, so start your writing campaign now. Seriously. We'd all love to do it. The ball is in Fox's hands. And not Fox Mulder, Fox the studio.

I can't help it, he's so pretty I want to cry.
Okay so this is coloured pencil and I'm not completely happy with it. The charcoal one was a lot more 'Ichabod' but it's the best I can do for this one and if I keep tweaking it will be worse.

YAY, Sleepy Hollow has already been renewed for a second season and we're only three episodes into the first season!

I saw Prison Break season 1 at the op shop (charity store) for $10 and I wanted to buy it even though I already have season 1 in region 1 AND region 4. Does anyone else get these protective urges for PB?
Also a friend got hooked on it recently and I felt really guilty handing over season 4. Like I was inflicting pain on her. I warned away from the last 4 minutes but I know it wont affect her as much as it did some of us. The difference between investing 4 years as opposed 2 weeks in a series I guess.
I think I just made this post as an excuse to have some Wentworth.

This week, Sarah again ventured into the the field for the IRC to Jordan and northern Iraq. Her first blog post Time to Heal explains where she's going and what she'll be doing. She also revealed personal and very sad information about herself in relation to this cause.

Today marked a second blog post and a plea: Will you help.

Have a read, it's really interesting what she has to say about ground level, human stories of what's happening there right now.
