Throwback Thursday is a recurring series on my blog where I share a photo—or a set of photos—from my archive collection. These posts are always published on a Thursday, though not necessarily every Thursday. The images featured can range from decades-old film shots to digital photos taken just a few years ago. Either way, each post serves as a photographic throwback that highlights past moments, scenes, and stories worth revisiting.
This series originally began back in 2008 as part of a collaborative effort among a group of bloggers. We all shared posts under the Throwback Thursday banner, often using a shared logo and linking to each other’s blogs. At the time, it was a fun and effective way to connect with other creators, drive traffic, and share what were then called “pingbacks” or “trackbacks.”
While most of those original blogs have since disappeared, the Throwback Thursday posts on my site remain—and I continue to update the series today. You can explore past entries by visiting the Throwback Thursday Tag, or I have the most recent 15 posts listed below. If you write a Throwback Thursday post on your blog, tag one of my posts and I will be sure to check it out.
