List of Lists

Yes, you did read that correctly, this page is a list of my lists. Lots of people make lists, like the one above by Thomas Jefferson, and I am one of those list makers. Not a to-do list maker, just a list maker. So I thought it would be interesting to put these running lists of mine down here on my site.

I am a big list maker (or I used to be back in the day), only because my mind doesn’t remember everything that my hands can write down. So, time permitting, I am going to develop this page into a page of my lists, such as my Bucket List, my Rules List, goals, people, books, blogroll, and so on. If you have a page of lists, send them over my way, I love to read other people’s lists too!

My Current Lists

About Some of the Lists

My Bucket List : I don’t know about you, but I love reading other people’s bucket lists, so I had to create my own. This is it. This list is active, changing, and I do continually cross things off this list and add new things. Some are pipe-dreams, some are closer to reality to achieve.

My Rules List : This page has been in the works for more than 20 years, in my head mostly, but the title and the list below is a play on words between Gibbs’ Rules and Jonathan Edwards Resolutions List of 70 rules to live by.

My Blog Posts Lists : I often write all different blog posts using lists, the Top 10 this, 20 reasons for that. These are a random of categories, all different topics, but all lists. These cover almost every subject area on my blog site, so if you want a nice random list of lists, this is it.

My Blogroll List : I can’t begin to think of all the websites that have had some type of impact on the way I think or the way I do things in general, it has to be thousands. This page is a list of my most influential sites on the Internet in each of my categories. Your site might be on the list, never know. (Update 2025, this has sort of gone out of style but I’m reviving it with a new list of blogs I read.)

My Recommended Reading List : Over the years reading has become more and more important in my life. Some books have had a great impact not he way I think and learn, this will highlight some of those books.

My List of Written Essays, Poems, and Critiques : I am far far from the best reader or the best writer, but I think it is vitally important for our generation and the generations to come to embrace the art of words before symbols on a page, written in full sentences, full detailed thoughts placed there for us to read, becomes an unknown language.

50 Reasons Why I Still Love Twitter : I have spent about 10 years developing this blog, but back in 2007 when I joined Twitter, I knew that I would really love micro-blogging, and I have. Over the past 5 years I have spent a good bit of time studying the tool that is Twitter, and here are 50 reasons why I still love this platform.

List of the 613 Mitzvot Laws or Commandments of the Old Testament : Below is just a running list of all 613 laws (mitzvot commandments), based primarily on a list compiled by Rambam in the Mishneh Torah.
