Adobe Lightroom is probably the app I have used the longest and have spent the most money on over the course of my photographic lifetime. I started using Lightroom almost 30 years ago now, when it was sold on disc at the computer store. I have tried to get away from using it for years and just have not found anything that can replace my workflow at the speed and detail which I can get with LR.
I have also rebuilt my library several times over the years and don’t have any intention of doing it again. The library just reached the 800,000 image mark and trying to organize the images in any other way other than what they are right now, year >> month >> day is an impossible task.1
