Remember PECS?
Memories from the wayback machine
Sorting through old school projects, worksheets, art work, progress reports and the like, I came across Andrew’s ancient Picture Exchange notebook!
I could hardly bear to part with it, but I did. These days Andrew uses computers, iPods, and iPads like everyone else. No more paper.
In fact, every weekend, as soon as he gets to the computer that he uses in my office, he empties all the paper out of my printer tray. I have no idea why.
He has his own printer, which he doesn’t empty, so maybe that’s a clue. Until recently he loved to print out web pages by the dozens, so come to think of it, “no more paper” isn’t right. It’s no more paper for communication.
For the ages:1

I find the Feelings page pretty funny, seeing as how Andrew’s teacher didn’t see fit to include a laminated item for I am entering nuclear meltdown, look out below
