The setting is post BTR, the lovers have been reunited and are now fighting to either destroy Skynet or get a chance to travel back in time.

I would love a story where he grounds John, punishes him, protects him, comforts him, anything vaguely parental. More specifically, any stories where Derek assumes legal custody of John, for whatever reason.
