Program Overview
Welcome to the Canadian Youth AI Entrepreneurship education program, a nationwide initiative designed to ignite curiosity and build real tech skills in youth K-12. Launched in April 2025, this program offers free, hands-on learning experiences in coding, artificial intelligence (AI), and Web3 (blockchain) technologies.
Through interactive courses and projects, participants explore the latest in technology in a fun, inclusive environment. No prior coding or tech experience is required – we welcome complete beginners and enthusiastic tech explorers alike. Thanks to support from the Government of Canada’s CanCode 4.0 Program, all program activities are provided at no cost to participants.

CANCODE PROGRAM
CanCode is a federal program dedicated to providing Canadian youth with opportunities to learn coding and digital skills.
MINDFUEL
Our partnership with MindFuel and the CanCode Program covers all costs for the quality tech education for all youth across Canada.
Course 1: Entrepreneur Digital Skills
In this introductory course, students develop fundamental tech skills that are useful in school, work, and everyday life.
We’ll cover the basics of
graphic design
and
digital literacy to build a strong foundation with the use of
AI tools.
Participants will learn how to write simple programs. For example:
creating a basic webpage
and
creating a mobile app
and
explore essential digital tools used in modern workplaces.
By the end, you’ll understand core concepts like algorithms and problem-solving, and how digital skills translate into real-world job readiness. This course is all about giving you confidence with technology – you’ll be ready to start your own business!
Course 2: Web3 Blockchain Pioneers
Become a pioneer of the decentralized web!
In Web3 Pioneers, we demystify
blockchain technology and
cryptocurrencies
in a youth-friendly way.
Ever wondered what Bitcoin, Ethereum, or NFTs are? We’ll explain these concepts and why Web3 is considered the “next generation” of the internet and finance.
More importantly, you’ll get hands-on experience:
from creating
your first crypto wallet (in a safe, test environment)
to maybe even
minting a simple non-fungible token (NFT)
for fun.
By exploring Web3, you’ll learn about
online security,
decentralization,
and interact with real blockchain products:
METIS,
DEFI Kingdoms game,
NUVO.
Get ready to see how blockchain might shape your future and how you can be part of it early on.
Course 3: Mastering AI Language Models
This course dives into the world of artificial intelligence, focusing on the amazing capabilities of AI language models (the technology behind chatbots like ChatGPT).
You’ll start by learning the fundamentals:
what AI is,
how machines “learn” from data, and
the role of language models in everyday apps.
Then, through interactive exercises, you will learn to work with an
AI model yourself.
For example, you might experiment with a
friendly chatbot,
teach it to answer questions, or
use AI to help write a short story.
We’ll also cover important topics like
AI ethics and
AI bias
in an easy-to-understand way – discussing questions like
“Can we trust AI?” and
“How do we use AI responsibly?”.
By the end, you’ll not only know
how to use AI tools effectively,
but you’ll also have a peek into
how to “talk to” AI and even tweak its responses.
This course empowers you to be more than just a user of AI – you’ll start to become a creator with AI.
Course 4: Build Your Own AI Agent
Put your skills to the test by building your very own AI-powered project!
In this advanced course, students step into the role of an
AI developer.
Don’t worry – we start simple and support you all the way.
An “AI agent” is basically a program that can make decisions or carry out tasks on its own.
You’ll learn how to
design and code a basic AI agent,
combining what you learned about
coding,
logic, and
AI models.
For example, you might create
a smart virtual assistant
that can answer questions on a topic you love, or
a small AI game character
that adapts to a player’s moves.
This course is highly project-based: you will
plan,
build,
test, and
improve
your AI agent with guidance from mentors.
By the end, you’ll have
a tangible project to showcase –
proof that you can build intelligent technology yourself!
It’s an empowering journey that shows how creativity and coding come together in the world of AI.

CanCode 4.0 – Government of Canada: CanCode is an initiative by the Government of Canada (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) that provides funding for organizations to teach coding, digital skills, and STEM to Canadian youth. Now in its fourth round, CanCode 4.0 is focused on integrating AI learning opportunities for K-12 students, with a special emphasis on reaching underrepresented groups.
