    <title>happy veteran's day</title>

    <content type="html">&lt;center&gt;&lt;img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3150/3022880619_d76118824f.jpg?v=0" fetchpriority="high"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;today, my grandfather would've been 94 if he were still alive. that's older than some people's great grandparents, but he married late. he was a veteran from world war II and he won a purple heart for his work. i always thought his birthday was especially appropriate for that reason. the pictures up there are from my grandparent's wedding day. he lived through the great depression, through the civil rights movement, to raise three children, to see his eight grandchildren grow up. i miss him. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;center&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3177/3022881961_e022c28c5f.jpg?v=0" loading="lazy"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;my grandfather and grandmother before he got sick, i'm guessing around 10 years ago.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3195/3023710264_e3a5d15be5.jpg?v=0" loading="lazy"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;mother's day, 1975. i can't even pick my dad out of the boys. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3196/3022883235_85ce95e2ee.jpg?v=0" loading="lazy"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;i'm not sure how old this is, or even who all is in it besides my grandfather. i think that's my great grandmother in the middle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3214/3022884703_431636f7b6.jpg?v=0" loading="lazy"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;dated 1965&lt;a name='cutid1-end'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/center&gt;&lt;/center&gt;</content>
