About coda
Getting an early start in the demoscene and chiptune scene, Ken Snyder (aka coda) is known for catchy melodies and authentic retro soundscapes. From the 8-bit era and beyond, Ken has crafted soundtracks and arrangements in a variety of styles, from synth-laden nostalgic '80s and '90s jams to progressive metal, in his signature stuck-in-your-head style.
Ken has worked on a diverse range of projects including RPGs (ANCORA and YIIK), VR shoot-'em-ups (HORIZON VANGUARD), run-'n'-gun action games and Metroidvanias (CALIBER CHICKS 2, a game-within-a-game in WARFRAME 1999, OMEGA STRIKE), platformers (GRAVE DANGER, SIR NOGGIN), and mobile titles and web games by Dreamworks Animation. He also scored the award-winning indie title, CONSUME ME. He's contributed remixes to high-profile projects ranging from SHOVEL KNIGHT and FEZ to DUKE NUKEM 3D and MIGHTY SWITCH FORCE. Ken's music can also be heard in several rhythm games including CLUB FANTASTIC, MUSE DASH, and ROBEATS.
In addition to his work in videogames, Ken has released numerous solo albums, including the soundtrack to a fictitious PC-98 game, TREE OF KNOWLEDGE, co-written by surasshu (Steven Universe). He's also performed his music live at MAGFest and elsewhere.
