Fount is a venture-backed AI-native marketing intelligence platform for P&C insurance headquartered in NYC, founded by Saffas. We unify fragmented data and put AI agents in the hands of insurance marketers — conversational analytics, automated reporting, audience activation, campaign optimization tied to policy economics.

The role

You start with the user problem, then design, build and own - AI agents, product UX, data pipelines, backend APIs. You work directly with founders and customers to ship features end-to-end.

You

• 3-6 years shipping production full-stack systems, principled & pragmatic engineer
• Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Postgres, S3 (strong preference)
• Built and shipped AI agents and LLM-powered products in production
• You use AI tools aggressively to multiply your output, and you can build without them. We value speed and leverage, but the foundation is strong engineering judgment and simple, well-understood code.
• Strong product instinct - you care about what the user experiences, not just what the code does
• Comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and making product calls
• High autonomy, clear written communication

Nice to have

• Insurance, fintech, or marketing analytics experience
• Data pipeline experience (DuckDB, dbt, Dagster, Airflow)
• Former founder or early startup engineer (zero-to-one experience, small team high agency)
