At Sumara Technology, we are building the next generation of digital financial experiences for global users. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape intuitive, scalable, and high-impact product experiences across our platform. The ideal candidate has strong experience designing complex, data-rich interfaces, a sharp eye for usability and interaction design, and a passion for solving challenging user problems through thoughtful, system-driven design.

As a Product Designer at Sumara Technology, you will own features from concept through launch, designing cohesive experiences across mobile, tablet, and web platforms. You will work on sophisticated product challenges — from trading workflows and dashboards to cross-pillar experiences — while collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers. This role offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, contribute to our evolving design system, and deliver high-quality experiences used by a diverse global audience.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of product design experience shipping real products that users love
• Strong portfolio showing your process (problem, research, iteration, outcome) with 2-3 case studies demonstrating depth over polish
• Experience designing complex, data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, financial products, multi-step flows, or similar)
• Mobile-first design expertise with deep knowledge of iOS 26 and Android patterns
• Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and design system work Comfort working within design systems while knowing when to push boundaries and challenge patterns
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to explain your thinking clearly and work effectively with engineers and product managers Growth mindset and hunger to learn fintech, trading, or crypto domains (if not already familiar)

PREFERENCES

• Fintech, trading platform, or investment product experience
• Understanding of crypto, DeFi, Web3, or blockchain technology
• Experience with data visualisation and charting libraries
• Knowledge of trading concepts like order types, CFDs, margin, leverage, and technical indicators
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and designing inclusive experiences
• Experience building or contributing to design systems at scale

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own complete features across all product modules from concept through launch
• Design unified dashboards, order tickets, portfolio views, card management screens, and cross-pillar experiences that feel cohesive
• Build and evolve our design system to work seamlessly across mobile (iOS26/Android), tablet, and web platforms
• Create reusable patterns that serve both novice investors and professional traders through progressive disclosure
• Solve complex problems like making stock trading margin management intuitive, surfacing 100+ technical indicators without overwhelming users, and enabling seamless switching between trading and spending
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content designers to influence strategy, not just execute specs
