[Flying across your night sky tonight, Discedo, is this massive beast, which will likely give you a heart attack if you havn't been paying attention for the last week. He's leaving rainbows and sparkles in his wake, which will fall upon the city and make everything pretty.

He'll be flying aaaaaaall over the city tonight, and, as the dawn approaches, he will give one loud, massive cry, and he and all the other duel monsters in the city will disappear. Poof.

In the morning, there will be glitter everywhere. Like, the kind that gets everywhere and sticks to you. It's only in the streets and stuff, though, so don't worry too much about it.}

And by anything, I mean anything. Pants, chairs, jewlery, bricks; you name it, he's probably trying to take it.

He's got a special affinity for shiny things, but really, he'll be taking anything that's not nailed down or on fire, but only when no one's looking. I wouldn't turn your back on him lest your favorite whatever go missing.

[ooc; Yea idk, I couldn't think of anything better. Yusei's pretty much turned into a kleptomaniac from the Avarice ailment. If you're actually looking at him he'll be acting as though nothing is wrong, but feel free to catch him in the act. Make his empty his pockets or whatever. He's a very good thief, though, having grown up doing such things.
Don't worry, anything he steals will be in his apartment safe and sound, and you'll get it back after the event with an apology if you don't catch him.]

I've thought it over for a while now, and I've decided to open up a mechanics shop. If you want something fixed, just bring it over and I'll be happy to fix it for you.

I'll be running it from both Horton basement and my apartment, 208, for now, but I'm kinda hoping to move to an actual garage or something at some point. If anyone has any ideas on that, please let me know.

{Yusei really needs to quit dropping things when he's shocked, it's going to come back to bite him someday.

This time the camera flips on to a scream and the picture of a dead person sitting against the bedroom wall. He's totally covered in blood, from what looks like a head wound. Ew.

You can't see Yusei, but you can kinda-sorta hear him from behind the communicator, although it's hard to tell if he's crying or not. Anyone who knows him well enough should know exactly why he's so upset about this.}

{Looks like Yusei's back to fixing stuff. After making sure the Horton generator still worked (which it did) and fixing a few solar pannels, he's now working in the Marshall basement. Three guesses as to what he's doing.}

Well... Today's my birthday. I think it is, anyway. I'm not entirely sure, I never have been.
But we always celebrated it on the Eighth, so...
{This part is mostly just mumbling to himself, while he's working, like he's not aware the camera is on.
But he turns to grab another tool and notices the communicator.

We've been ordered by the soldiers from the town to leave. They seem to think it's dangerous to be here right now.
Although I'm kind of inclined to beleive them... We found some... pretty mangled corpses.

So, can someone still in Discedo, or at least a position closer than us, tell me how the city is? Is it even safe, or should we head for Dissimulo?

{The video opens to a ravaged-looking campsite. Seriously, there's a bunch of stuff scattered around, but for the most part, nothing looks really ruined or broken. It's just... on the ground.}

Sorry, it's a little early in the morning to be posting, but I think this counts as an emergency.

Um... there's kinda a bear in the camp. I think it's looking for food or something, I'm not entirely sure, but it's been into our non-food stuff for sure. It's gone right now, but I'm pretty sure it's nearby, so it'll probably be back.

So I'm wondering what the best way to get rid of a bear is. Anyone got any ideas?

Oh, one more thing...
Someone spray painted the bear.

{Well, the first thing you're going to be getting in this post is a loud BZZZZZT noise, followed by an ouch. Looks like someone has been neglecting their communicator~

But Yusei quickly shakes it off. He looks pretty pleased. If you look behind him, you may see why; he's in the Horton basement, and it looks like the generator is fixed!}

Well, I've been working on the Horton generator for a while now, and I'm happy to say that it's now fully functional!
So any electronics that need a plug will now work. It's solar powered, so it might be a little weak right now since it's been raining so much lately, but it shouldn't be an issue.
If there's any problems, you can contact me and I'll see what I can do for it.

{He smiles and shuts it off.}

{Papa nods and spins (yes, spins) out of the room and the door closes behind him.

{Yusei is finally getting around to fixing the electicity in the Horton apartments. For the next several weeks, all his free time will be spent in the basement, but he doesn't mind; he loves this sort of thing.

The lights may start flickering in some places if they've been left on for whatever reason, and if the lightbulbs are stll intact. The light over Yusei's head is an example; he's left it on so he can check his progress as he goes.

Come down and bother him- he won't mind terribly. Might not say much, though; he's concentrating.}

He backs into a wall. He'll defend himself if they come too close, but I wouldn't leave him there alone too long.}

{Well, well, looks like someone hasn't been using their communicator. Yusei drops the communicator upon shock, and it lands with the camera facing him. He holds his hands to his chest, hurt expression apparent on his face. Is that a hint of terror I see there too?

On the bright side, looks like his sling is gone.

That shock obviously scared the crap out of him, especially with the lack of sleep and all the other strange shit that's been going on.

The shock only lasts a moment, however, and he picks up the communicator and switches to audio.}

{You know how it's been below zero all week? Well, Yusei doesn't have any winter clothes.
And he's been going to the cafe every morning to work, which means a ten minute walk there and another on the way back.

Looks like it's finally taken its toll, Yusei's caught himself a cold.
And not the fun Yay-Now-I-Don't-Have-To-Go-To-School-Today kind, it's the Oh-God-I-Feel-Horrible-I-Just-Wanna-Sleep-Forever kind.

He's currently coughing his head off in his apartment.}

Riding Duel 007 [Accidental Video]

{The video is sideways. It looks like it turned on when the communicator was dropped. You can only see Yusei's foot and a bit of his elbow; the rest of the screen is filled with flames. In the corner you can see one of the magic flowers making this happen.

There were faint screams in the distance, as though there were bodies burning deep within the hospital.

Yusei edged out of the shot, but then the flames disappeared and the apparition was over.

The communicator was snatched up and the feed was immediately cut.}
