Summary: Hermione Granger makes waves and enemies. Unfortunately they are competent enough to be a very serious threat. She ends up in a different dimension, on the Elemental Continent and meets a newly promoted Konoha jounin-nin, Namikaze Minato. They become intellectual friends and sort-of penpals. Hermione’s feelings change and being male Minato remains clueless. When the Kyuubi no Kitsune attacks Konoha Hermione risks it all to help her friend, just like she always does.

- Thank you Amy!sparklycockles . I just had a look at the art and I Love It! I really don't know how you visual art types do it. I wouldn't have the first clue how to go about creating something so Together.
- AU after B7 Deathly Hallows; ignore the epilogue. Hermione and Ron do not get together. They Do Not Work in my universe.
- Completely AU Narutoverse since this fic changes events that occur before the anime/manga even starts. Canon history? Forget it.
- Wondering what is Naruto? ... a very popular Japanese anime/manga. Think steampunk, a world that has modern conveniences and villages that act as mercenary guilds for shinobi/ninja. These fighters can manipulate the elements (fire, water, earth, lightening, wind) and the senses (illusions and trickery). They do not act like the traditional (never seen in daylight dress only in black) ninja. You can find background information and translations on the series specific Japanese terms on Wiki, or by googling.
- Japanese names are reversed (i.e. Namikaze Minato: Minato is the first/personal name, Namikaze is the sur/family/clan name).
- Japanese/Naruto-centric terms throughout the fic, there is a separate glossary if you need it.
