What brings you to Sarafu Network?

Offerings, registered as Community Asset vouchers by members, come together in shared commitment pools that work like virtual marketplaces and are managed by trusted stewards, allowing communities to seamlessly swap valuable goods and services.

How it works
01
Join or Create

Join an existing commitment pool or create your own with customizable rules and governance.

02
Earn & Trade

Earn credit by providing goods and services, then spend them with other community members.

03
Build Networks

Connect with other communities to expand exchange opportunities and strengthen bioregional economies.

04
Measure Impact

Account for community health, transaction volume, and social impact through comprehensive analytics.

Stewards

A pool steward is a trusted coordinator who manages and maintains a pool.

Stewards curate which vouchers and issuers are allowed into the pool, set reasonable credit limits, help members onboard and redeem vouchers, reward supporters, and connect to other pools in the network sharing common vouchers. In return for their services, stewards may set and collect small membership or transaction fees.

Voucher Users

Swap your vouchers in pools, redeem them for local products, or gift them forward.

You can think of a voucher as a gift card or digital credit that represents value within a community. Members earn vouchers by contributing goods or services to a pool, and spend them to access other members' offerings. Vouchers keep value circulating locally, strengthen community trade.
