OMG I hate my neighbors. Especially the batshit crazy lady downstairs. The building is very not soundproof, despite that she listens to her TV at levels that make my floor vibrate.
Yesterday, I was nicely sleeping when she comes home at 1 am, I wake up to her screaming obscenities at her dog, like she always does, then she's watching a movie extremely loud. Like, I can understand what the characters are saying...I bang the floor and she does nothing. I bang again and she does nothing. I bang a third time louder, and I hear he yell "It's Friday, I can listen to a movie, goddammit!" (In French: J'ai le droit d'ecouter un film, calisse!) I don't care what day it is, at 1 AM I want to sleep. It's not the first time she does that, she does it at least once a week. I didn't want to let her win after she said that, so I called the police. Never called the police before, so I was nervous.
So police shows up, they say there's been a complaint, can you turn the volume down etc...She says: Is it wrong to watch a movie?? They say: no, but there's been a complaint so..She says ok and the police leaves. As soon as they get out, I hear her scream insults at me, namely calling me a bitch/crazy. (In french: t'es conne)...
She mumbles more insults, mumbles to herself out loud like she always does. She's always talking out loud to herself. That's got to be a sign of insanity! She says something like: I don't complain when your damn cat cries in the morning! While it's true that my cat is quite annoying in the morning, I'm working on it, and he's just a cat. He doesn't know he's bothering you. YOU know that you're bothering me and you don't give a damn.
She then proceeds to call her boyfriend (who also does not sleep at 1AM wtf??) to tell him what a bitch I am and complain really loudly, I could hear everything. Then she finally goes to bed. At this point it's 2AM and it took me a while to fall asleep again because I was shaken up, I don't deal well with these situations cause I'm a wimp :(
Early in the morning my cat wakes up, and I make sure he doesn't meow at all, to avoid further conflict. Crazy lady wakes up anyways, mumbles stuff that I couldn't make out, and turns her tv REALLY loud, at 7 AM. >:( Clearly in revenge for calling the police. I don't do anything, but obviously can't sleep. A bit later I hear the sound be a bit less loud, so I'm thinking maybe she's leaving the sound on just to annoy me but she's actually sleeping through it (she's probably deaf!). So then I turn on my own tv loud...
Later she's finally leaving, as she gets out she shots me a really nasty look. *Sigh* This is going to turn into a war, I know it. Omg I hope she dies. I hope she dies horribly. I don't remember the last time I hated someone so much. She can go DIAF. The world does not need people like this. She's always swearing loudly alone in her apartment, or crying alone when she gets home drunk. She also does drugs. She is seriously messed up and I hope she dies. Thank god I am moving very soon, mostly just because of her, although the other neighbor is not much better. I want a house where I do not have to share a wall, ceiling or floor with another person! The end.
