Tina Mullen

about Tina

Tina Mullen is a visual artist with a BA from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, and an MFA from the University of Florida. She studied abroad at the Cleveland Institute of Art (now SCAD) in Lacoste, France. Tina currently serves as Faculty at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, where she teaches the science and practice of creativity. She is Director Emeritus of UF Health Arts in Medicine at the University of Florida—a program that brings the arts to patients and families struggling with serious illness or injury.

Tina has been a drawing instructor at Santa Fe College and the University of Florida, as well as Interim Director of the University Galleries at UF. She has exhibited her work throughout the United States and has received numerous awards, including the Individual Artist Fellowship from the Florida Department of Cultural Affairs. She has also been a visiting artist at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming.
