Since 1999, Samuel’s House, Inc. has served Monroe County as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, operating three shelters that provide safe, nurturing housing for homeless women, mothers with children, and intact families. Our mission is to offer compassionate care coordination that strengthens physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being while actively engaging our community to raise awareness, support, and lasting stability for women, children, and families in need.

Samuel’s House serves women, mothers with children, and families across Monroe County who are experiencing homelessness, domestic instability, or crisis. We welcome those facing unexpected life transitions, offering a safe place to stabilize, regroup, and rebuild. With compassion, dignity, and trauma-informed care, we support individuals and families seeking safety, guidance, and a path toward long-term stability and independence.
