About:

Amanda Slatten, Manager of Human Capital and Employee Wellbeing at Samuel Engineering, Inc., brings over 25 years of administrative and human resources experience. She oversees the HR and administrative teams, managing key functions such as benefits administration, payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, performance management, total compensation, and health and wellness.

Amanda serves as an advisor to executive management, ensuring that Samuel operates in compliance with EEOC, DOL, and other regulatory requirements. As Safety Chairperson, she also ensures corporate compliance with client and governmental regulations.

Her certifications include being a Certified Professional in Human Resources (HRCI) and holding a Paralegal Certificate from California State University, San Marcos. Amanda also has a Human Resources Certificate from Employers Council and a Supervisory Skills Certificate from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Amanda serves on the Steering Committee and as advisor to executive management throughout all Samuel organizations and she holds a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from Metro State University and additional HR and business management training from the University of South Dakota and Syracuse University.
