The Note: Ocean ๐๐ผ เฃช ๐๐งโโ๏ธ๐
Beachy, briny, and bizarre
Crissy and I came of age in the early 2000s, meaning the golden age of aquatics. Armaniโs Acqua di Gio for women was the only perfume my mom owned, and Dolce & Gabbanaโs Light Blue was my signature scent in high schoolโboth crisp, oceanic scents. Back then, everyone and their mother wanted to smell like the beach. For that reason, when I started my perfume journey as an adult, I strayed from aquatics because I considered them dated and juvenile. Well, years later, after falling in love with several niche aquatics Iโll get into, Iโve come full circle. In the year of our lord 2026, I am all about smelling soaking wet. And since summer is finally here, weโre including our ~top ten~ favorite perfumes that evoke the lovely, timeless smell that is the ocean! (And drop your fave ocean perfume in the comments, obvi.)
