Hey LJ haven't seen you in a while. Summer is in full throttle for me. I have no job but hopefully I can focus on my art more. Also I have decided to pick up skateboarding again. radioyeti and I found a few parks to go to. Its great exercise and hella fun, but I think I might end up with tons of bruises by the time Metrocon comes around.

I might post some craptastic sketches and pictures of me and my friends on our boards later.

Ugh this was probably my worst Christmas vacation EVAR!!

I didn't get to do anything I had planned on doing, including hang out with my friends. I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH!! TnT

To top it all off, as soon as I came home, my adulthood was ripped away. I went back to needing my parents permission for everything, not having any independent mode of transportation, and being dragged to places without a choice. I also got no presentable artwork done on account of my older scanner not working with the software updates on my comp. I ended up hanging out with only two people from my old high school. One of which is only likable because she has a car. The other was a guy who I kinda like but TOTALLY MONOPOLIZED MY TIME DAMMIT! He spent a lot of money on me so i didn't complain.

Honestly though, I really hate being unproductive. Now I have to go back to my hell hole dorm and drag my feet to class for another 5 months. How lucky am I.

Well on the other hand,Christmas day was good. I got a new 6 by 11 tablet, an Easel art set, and some perfume stuff. I have to figure out how tro pack this stuff. I blew almost all of my christmas money and ended up seeing three movies in on week with (guess who) my guy friend aka TIME MONOPOLIZER BOY.

New Years was boring as usual. I slept through it (not that I intended to stay up anyway) and New Years day I went to Boomers with my family and my guy friend.

My life is so boring...

I'm soooooo bored

I miss home. I honestly should be working on final projects right now, but I'm seriously reconsidering being an artist for the rest of my life. The fine arts program here in unappealing. Most of the people in my classes suck at art, computers and life. But its ok! I gots me a moleskin and I can't go anywhere in the tri-state area whenever I feel like it, including all the awesome museums of inspirement.

Thanksgiving was fun. I went to Baltimore and New York with my family. We (my mom actually) bought a lot of stuff there. My mom and my god mother got really crazy over the christmas decorations section in the Macy's in New York. I also met this really cute guy who was mentally retarded on that floor. The next day I found out he was staying in the hotel room three doors down from us xD

I broke up with my boyfriend. It seems permanent this time. I don't care either way, I just want to go home and enjoy my spacious room and comfortable bed.

I MISS MY FRIENDS FROM HOME :C

Lock-In/Gaia Retards/ Weird Season

My youth grouth had a lock-in last night so my friends and I went. It was LAME. Honestly that was the worst lock-in I've ever gone to and I think a bunch of other kids would agree with me. I am definitely not doing that again. Well at least I got to draw.

Oh well I'll just start over. I took a screenshot of my item a while ago. I wouldn't really be this pissed if I hadn't just bought a bunch of items today. The sad thing is that most of the items I had were expensive. Grrrr.

Ok so this christmas season isn't going that great. I lost my iPod, my gaia account was deleted, I'm having issues with people, and I'm poor. Great news though. My boyfriend got accepted into college. I hope that outways the bad for me. I really do.

Ok so school back in, that means more time to procrastinate ^.^ Haven't really been on LJ that much, so yeah.

I'm going to Orlando in two weeks for Rock the Universe (so exited XD!!) I can't wait! Youth group has been really fun so far, and I almost know all the regular's names. Two weeks after RTU, is my Senior Retreat in Tennessee which is going to kick major ass.!!! I've been drawing a lot lately, and posting stuff on FA and DA. I'm trying to improve my art, and things are looking good so far.

I've been going out with friends a lot, which is really weird since I've never been a very social person, and haveing a lot of fun. I hope I can keep them while i'm in college, since they're really cool.

Ok blabbing now. I'm done :D

Yeah I haven't been here for a while but I'm back now (weeeeee^_^)

Nothing much to say. A lot has been going on. I went to Alvi-Con last week. I had a table with a416 and made some bucks on commissions. Then I got my sketchbook jacked, so now I need more money to buy a new one, but I did have a lot of fun, and I made some new friends yay XD. I also went to Tate's for the first time. (OMG I love that place!!)

Went to Florida Supercon before that. Didn't spend as much money as I thought I would (mostly because I went went my dad and brother) and also had super fun (god that sounds corny).

Before that I got, a laptop. My dad's old one actually (He got a new one) I now I have two screens to work on and I am quite content.

Yeah I think that's about it. Nota an eventful summer I know ^^'

Oh yeah I went to see Harry Potter. Voldemort looks so goddamn HAWT in a suit (best part of the movie I swear) Transformers before that. I soooooo want to see that again. yeah that's it ^_^

Okay so my family and I were just lazin' around the house, and we hear this big BOOM! My parents go outside to check because it sounded like something hit the roof and made the house shake. My mom goes out a little farther to see what's going on, and she sees this huge fire. It turns out that someone parked a car in the vacant lot next door and and set it on fire. What we heard was the explosion of the engine. Oh and did I mention, it was on the side of the house where our gas tank is. So we call 911, and it takes them 20 minutes to get here. The fire department is right around the freakin' corner! So everyone in the neighborhood comes out to see, and someone went to check if someone was in the car. No one was, but it's obvious that whoever did it did it on purpose. So we're kind of shaken, but no one was hurt, so I guess that's the best part. The fire department is still here though. Oh yeah, and they only sent ONE police car. What if someone actually was in the car? I hate Miami. I so want to move right now. Great now I'm pissed.

Ahh the Smell of New Books!

Okay so it's Monday, the last day of my spring break. I haven't exactly met all my goals, but I still have all day. My dad's first set of his new book came in. He just published his graphic novel, so now the office is packed with boxes. I spent all day yesterday at my grandparents' house cooking Easter dinner. They watched church on television the WHOLE FREAKIN DAY!! I can now make a mean banana puddin' (Yes Puddin'. Not pudding; that's different). I spent all Saturday looking at clubs on deviantArt, and so far I've joined three. I'm really going to miss have so much free time.

Well I got to do some painting at Laura's house (actually I only painted one picture) and I bought some art supplies. I'm still getting ready for the art festival, and now I have to get ready for my dad's book signing party which Laura any I are painting a piece at. So yeah. Going back to work now.

Okay so it's Thursday, and I'm a bit miffed. I was supposed to go over blueberrypecan's house, but she's still out of town. So I was stuck at my mom's job drawing and sleeping. She took me home, thank god, during her lunch break. The only things good about those people is they always tell me how I'm such a great artist (ha suckers) and they give me free food. I had a dream where today would turn out to be a disaster. It's falling through right now; I hope this doesn't continue.

I'm telling you people I CAN TELL THE FUTURE!!! You may not believe me but it's true. I have dreams about stuff and it happens. Of course, it's usually insignificant stuff, but it still happens. So I've decided to pack my stuff cuz I'm joining the X-men. I have to think of a cool name though.

okay so it's wednesday of my Spring break. I figured this morning "Okay today I'll work on painting in photoshop." BUT NO!! Photoshop keeps freezing on me. WHY?!!! I don't know. So to stall a bit I watched all the Bleach episodes I downloaded, deleted all the useless files on my computer (including unplayed music), drew fanart, and surfed the net. Then I restarted the computer. I haven't retried it yet, but I'm going to. It better freakin work because if it doesn't, I'm going to bed for the next six hours and giving up.

Okay, so it's tuesday of my spring break, and I now have twenty deviations in my DA Gallery. I'm working on drawing and coloring people on photoshop, and I'm actually doing my pretty good considering that my style isn't completely realistic (yet). Right now I'm using a Martha Stewart "Weddings" catalog for reference. It's actually very helpful. The only thing is now my guys' faces are a bit feminine. I found this skin color swatch chart while looking for photoshop tutorials, and it saved my art, really. I now only have one problem:

I still have six freaking days of Spring Break left. Of course I shouldn't really be complaining. That's a lot of time to do art, which I'm happy for, but does it have to go so slow.

On a side note. I made two prints. Yay! Their both kind of the same picture, just colored differently, though. The first one was just a test to see how to make a print, but I think the second picture is actually worth buying. It took me only three hours, which sadly is the norm for my portraits.

Oh and does anyone know where I can get some really cool icons.

Well it's april 1st, and of course, I'm not doing anything since my life is so boring. Other than telling my brothers that I'm pregnant, I probably won't get any laughs out of today. Okay maybe I'll tell my grandparents I'm converting to Islam too.

Spring Break! FINALLY!!!!

I finally have a week of no classes. No night classes for a whole week. My stupid school decided to do spiritual emphasis week, which was pretty dull, right before the break. They MADE us pay attention, those depraved bastards. The only thing that was really good was the rock concert. Crimson Vera played, and I was up in the front row screaming and banging my head. Of course now my neck hurts, but I got a signed CD and hugs from all of them. That's all that matters really. The next day (when a416 ditched us and stayed home), they did a "hip-hop" concert. It was terrible. If I had rotten tomatoes at the time, I would have thrown them at those guys. They rapped for TWO hours. Their sound was messed up, not to mention they stole the beats and LIP-SYNCED. Honestly how dumb did they think we were.

Anyway, on a lighter note, I finally got my iPod. It's a white 60GB, and man is it beautiful. My softball cleats mysteriously showed up on campus, so I was able to pitch my game. We lost 20-11, but compared to the baseball boys, I'd say we did pretty well.

I'm also selling my artwork now, and I'm putting together art for an art festival that I'm participating in.( Ana, I hope you requested the booth next to me so we can all be near each other.) So my spring break is probably going to be spent drawing, painting, coloring in photoshop, etc. Yeah that's probably it. Sucks.

I just ordered my iPod the other night, so my misery is over. Now I actually have money to spend as I please. I got a boost of confidence so posted up more art and put my commission prices in Fur Affinity. I guess I should put the prices on DA too. I've gotten three commissions so far, and I still have more requests, so I'm pretty happy right now.

Anyway, I'm going to do some art this weekend with my bud Laura (i think). Hopefully I'll finally be able to paint something that's not crap.

For once I have something not depressing or angering to say. It's actually quite optimistic

I'm only thirty dollars away from getting my new iPod!!! ^.^

All I have to do is earn that much, then I can start saving for a new pen tablet ...which oddly enough costs less than the iPod... Anyway, I going to be totally optimistic and assume that I'll be able to earn the money before the...what day is it?... 18th, okay...before the end of the month.

Now Ana aka a416(sounds like a weapon heehee) says I should do commissions, yet I don't think anyone reads this besides her. HELP ME ANA!!!.

By the way, had fun at your house, your mom's cool, aaand she owes me a dollar.
