Excerpt #38
"The Naked Woman"
I hate the way she looks at me, right through the screen, eyes locked on the camera as she does her best to not go dead-eyed.
It makes me want to know what she is thinking and how much of her thoughts are just about her performance. It’s a peculiar thing to watch her for research, as I am still watching regardless, which really makes me no better than those watching for pleasure. After all, a view is a view, is a view into the psyche and thus fuels the industry.
Those watching will be unable to differentiate between reality and fiction, what real human connection is and what is performance, often resorting to violence of some kind in the bedroom because they think that it is just a normal thing. In their digital voyeurism, they are rotting their brains. Soon, they will be unable to view women as real humans and only as objects, unable to feel any kind of satisfaction without her and thus seek out unsuspecting women to recreate the fantasy with.
