Parish Mission: The Holy Eucharist
The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy was founded in 1808, originally under the title of the
“Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the French people after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now an exclusively American community. The Generalate of the community is located a few miles outside of Bowling Green, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats, which are now given throughout the United States, Canada and Australia.
During the mission, Fr. Ben will encourage and challenge the parish community to make a
stronger, deeper personal commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church. His topic that he will speak on during this mission is the “The Holy Eucharist: Shadows and Fulfillment.”

5th Sunday of Easter: You Know the Way
Several years ago, a movie came out called 2012, loosely inspired by a poorly understood Mayan prophecy that suggested the world would come to an end in December of 2012. While the prophecy came from a distortion of the Mayan calendar, there is a way, from a certain point of

4th Sunday of Easter: Leading His Flock
During my Ordination Mass, I looked straight ahead to a beautiful window of the Good Shepherd. You can probably imagine the impact this had on me and my thoughts in those moments immediately before being ordained into that very image and priesthood of Christ (Some recall that I was also

3rd Sunday of Easter: God Reveals Himself to Us
Several years ago, when I was studying at my first seminary, I came into contact with the work of Fr. Henry Nouwen. Through many of his books, he has shared a spirituality that he learned through his time in serving and living with the severely disabled. But what struck me
