It might work for some but from what I have experienced is not only a slowdown but more like a shutdown. The typical speedtest could not even run it was so slow. Sorry no good for me.
Nice app, very user friendly. I had some issue installing, just be sure to install as Administrator and it will work fine. Seems to work as good as the top VPN providers that charge a subscription fee, I love that Safeip is free.

This proxy software works as advertised. There are a wide variety of servers ( Europe, UK, US, Asia ip address ) It is working on my laptop (Windows XP based) The support is great, you can contact them by email, Facebook also twitter. They answered my questions promptly and clearly.
