Beautiful Italian leather on the outside and soft goat skin on the inside with a smell that is intoxicating. I can’t wait to see how it looks in a year with some patina on it.

Thick leather feels amazing and will last forever. I had a faux leather cover before this and it started peeling. Not good to go! I put a Leuchtturm1917 in this and it fits perfectly. Moleskins are a TAD tight. The top touches the pen holder, but it can still work. Just doesn't fit as well as the Leuchtturm1917. I put a G2 on the pen holder and it fits well. It will stretch a little but will eventually work. Great product. Highly recommend!
I am a Tolkien fan, and a longtime customer and fan of Saddleback products. The leather, weight, and quality of this journal are excellent! The notebook filler fits snugly in place, and it looks and feels very classy! Another excellent product from Dave & Co!
