What is the chief and highest end of man? Our end shall be to glorify God and fully enjoy him forever (Westminster Larger Catechism). But, in a world full of competing affections and loud obligations, how often does our life reflect this chief end?
Even mature believers can feel the gap between who we are and who we are called to be. Scripture calls us to live holy lives (1 Pet. 1:15–16), but how do we grow in that holiness in the midst of ordinary life?
Join us for our fourth annual Sacred Truths Theology Conference and gain a deeper understanding of the doctrine of sanctification – our pursuit of holiness in Christ. Celebrate your positional sanctification, be encouraged in your progressive sanctification, and leave transformed with a confident expectation in your ultimate sanctification.

THE PERSON AND WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Hosted by Phoenix Seminary
The calling on a pastor is a noble task—one of divine calling (1 Timothy 3:1). We are confident that any lasting strength church leaders receive will come as God works by his Spirit through his Scripture. Christian ministry, from small group leaders to senior pastors, is best run at a marathon pace, and we commend this long sacrifice in the same direction. Following the Apostle Paul’s example, we “press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14).
This fall, our inaugural theme at Sacred Task will focus on biblical truths about endurance that can be found within the book of Philippians. Service to our Lord is to be marked not only by grit but also by gospel-rooted joy.
Featuring theological teaching by noted evangelical leaders, Sacred Task is a conference established to encourage and equip pastors and church leaders in faithful enduring ministry.
