I am currently playing this game on my Dell Inspiron 1720. OS: Vista Ultimate sp1, GPU: NIVIDIA 8600MGT. Initial installed the game to my HDD, than after playing for a while I moved the entire file to an external drive. Now i play it from my external drive without any issues, this way i save disc space on my HDD. Trying to install the game patch was a hassle and I have decided not to patch the game with latest game patch. Running this game on a Vista OS seems to have it own batch of issues. So now i use a software called "Gamebooster" to shut down all other process in the background and run the game.
