Resonance and Responsiveness
THE NATURE OF US writings on the earth community, love, body, embodiment, interconnection, our planetary moment, music - and the creativity and possibilities inherent in being human.
Dear readers, it seems that my essay last week may have been censored by Google Mail and possibly other carriers. It was found in spam with a red letter warning about dangerous links, not true of course. I think my sin was the mention of a controversial neurosurgeon . . . I apologize if you didn’t receive it, check your spam folder or you can read at this link:

Here is this week’s essay:
The sage’s transformation of the world arises from solving the problem of water. If water is united, the human heart will be connected. If water is pure and clean, the heart of the people will readily be unified and desirous of cleanliness. Even when the citizenry’s heart is changed their conduct will not be depraved, so the sage’s government does not consist of talking to people and persuading them, family by family. The pivot of work is water.
All action begins in rest.
— Lao-Tzu
We are mostly water. And we are intimately interwoven with nature.
Water is the government of the world. I will explain; it carries the frequency of love. It’s receptive and engaged rule of the world seemlessly affects both our interior and exterior.
The receptivity of water allows it to carry frequencies, memories, and light.
That is my window now, Just now
I have so softly awakened.
I thought that I would float.
How far does my life reach,
And where does the night begin?
—Rainer Maria Rilke
Water slowly awakens us through both its stillness and its movement, a governing body that knows us inside out.
Scientist Mae Wan-Ho in 1999:
There is a dynamic, liquid crystalline continuum of connective tissues and extracellular matrix linking directly into the equally liquid crystalline interior of every single cell in the body. Liquid crystallinity gives organisms their characteristic flexibility, exquisite sensitivity and responsiveness thus optimizing the rapid, noiseless intercommunication that enables the organism to function as a coherent, coordinated whole. In addition the liquid crystalline continuum provides subtle electrical interconnections which are sensitive to pressure and physiochemical conditions; it is also able to register ‘tissue memory.” Thus the liquid crystalline continuum possesses all the qualities of a highly sensitive “body consciousness” that can respond to all forms of subtle energy medicines. One begins to get a sense of the violence we routinely do to organisms including ourselves under the old mechanistic paradigm. And genetic engineering is the culmination of that paradigm.
Liquid crystallinity is the light of love within the waters, a golden nectar undulating us into new vast breathing beings renewing in each moment, improvising and engaging and responding to life. Freely breathed and moved from a knowing expressing crystalline spring.
Thus the liquid crystalline continuum possesses all the qualities of a highly sensitive “body consciousness” that can respond to all forms of subtle energy medicines
We have these possibilities because of the water within us. And being with a body of water in the environment near us builds this sensitivity through resonance.
Expanding, engaging, responding, water is receptive to everything.
Playing in water, moving with water playing without direction is moving in pure joy. A gentle current to be moved by — or play with swimming upstream.
Settling into the water within our bodies is deeply restful. An exhalation. A stillness in our cells, like floating on a very calm lake.
The direction of life right now, in this increasingly chaotic exterior man-made world, is to turn towards nature and what it offers us. When we take more time to recognize, resonate, and respond to what is moving through us, via the waters of our body—and encircling us in the natural world, what is ours to do naturally arises. Our ability to respond effectively heightens, through feeling our inherent connection to all that is.
With love,
Sabrina

of recent years whenever i see, for example, ducks in water i find it instantly soothing, i think it' something about the reminder of flowing with and not being separate from the energies around one... since much of society is about about stark boundaries of separateness, for example, cars or don't acknowledge strangers
Beautiful, Sabrina.
I found this post in my spam folder... and I've received emails from readers saying mine are also being found in their spam folder!... Stunning photography and shared water awareness. I am enjoying and most grateful for my 'almost daily' immersions.°‧ 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞 ·。
