Title:Travel

ad long become accostommed to travel by various means, bith traditional and not-so-traditional.
Carriages were by and large the most uncomfortable means of reaching a destination, the jolts and limited space leaving one unable to sleep or write as the miles dragged on.
Horseback was somewhat better, but the whims of an animal were almost an unpredictable as the road conditions in the outermost reaches of human civilization.
Walking took the longest, without question, but having the opportunity to converse at will was satisfying in it's own way, given that one's companion was anyone but the ever stoic Kanda Yuu.
In the end, the Exorcist was forced to admit that he preferred trains, with their roomy seats and steady, reliable movements. The noise was somewhat distracting, but after the passage of several hours, the clatter of wheels against steel rails drifted into negligible backround noise, allowing one to indulge in dialogue, sleep or reading with equal ease.
Shaking off his musings, he looked down, smiling at the relaxed face of the 'enemy' currently using his lap as a pillow. Eyeing the restfully sprawled length of his body as it stretched along the upholstered seat, he sighed. In the end, he supposed that the only real difference was the opportunity to fully enjoy the scenery.
