Have a fun day.
Pictures : I watch YouTube videos of things that I’m interested in, and most of the time I notice that the people are far more interested in the video that they’re making, and how many likes and subscribers it will get, versus what they’re actually doing. Don’t get me wrong, some of these people show excellent products with their work, and I fancy the end products. However, I noticed the stuff that I do gets the job done, and is not nearly as pretty, but definitely serves the same purpose in the end. Plus it takes about 1/10 of the time, 1/2 the material, and 1/4 of the tools!
Lately I have been watching woodworking-type things, and man they do make some pretty stuff. I love looking around in the background of their videos at all the fanny woodwork in their shops. I think if I had a shop as nice as some of them, I would be afraid to do any work in it, out of fear of messing it up! LOL. I must confess, though, in the end I do admire some of the work.
Do you ever watch (How To Videos) and think, “Oh my, I am not very good at this, am I?” LOL. I have come to the conclusion that one’s acceptance of one’s shortcomings of perfectionism is a very time-saving thing to have!
Folks do have a nice day.
