Bio: A pureblood born in Soviet Russia, Irina's family fled St. Petersburg to Britain after the Bolshevik party infiltrated the wizarding world when she was ten. She has been attending Hogwarts since first year, and speaks English mostly fluently, but with a slight accent. She is usually level-headed, although a bit shy. When pushed too far, however, she is prone to impassioned outbursts and dissolving into long strings of Russian. While her family supports the rise of Voldemort to power, she herself has a more neutral attitude, trying to sort out the coming political storm with reason, not emotion... although it's difficult to keep her feelings out of the matter.

She likes books, long walks, and Regulus Black. She had a brief, ill-fated courtship with Rabastan Lestrange in 5th year.
