So, this will be my last icon post before the new year and I thought what better way to end it than to end it with a bang. Yes? Well, not really a bang but a small, slight *boom* in the form of Harry Potter.

So, I made simple icons from the art in the books courtesy of Mary GrandPre, and I've also added the icons I had the opportunity to make from reallycorking's art. The best fan artist on live journal, I'd like to think.

So that means this post includes spoilers and if you haven't read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows yet, something is seriously wrong with you.

hi, i'm Nuri (dreamon_dreamer) and i'm interrupting your regularly scheduled programming to bring you a remix to the eljay icon world. Dav (rupiconic / spattergroit) came up with this idea awhile ago and asked me if i'd like to collaborate; clearly i said yes immediately. the idea is basically this: we decided to make a total of 50 icons using 6 (or 7 in dav's case since she can't follow directions) of each other's interests. don't tell the other which ones you've chosen, that's what the big reveal/hijacking is for. we wanted to see each other's styles showcased in some of our favorite things. then make your post in the other person's icon journal.

our deadline for this has been pushed back many times, lol. oh well, life has been crazy. but here they are finally. i hope everyone likes them. but mostly i hope you like them, dear! *bites nails*

look out for another collaboration bt us...at some point in the future, who knows how long it'll take us.

So, perhaps, I am a tad bit late with making Harry Potter icons... BUT and I digress my but, finals are here and anyone that's in school (college OR high school) knows exactly how it can be.

But, since I love Harry Potter more than I love my non-existent children, I took the time to make icons from the trailers for the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Thanks to every one that made caps of the trailers because I believe I snatched images from almost everyone that did.

I cannot wait until this film is released. It's nuts.

Since I'm doing my re-read and have at least four themes I want to make mood themes of, the next few posts will either be centered on quote icons/mood themes...

I don't know if anyone here has gone to see Pride, but I enjoyed this movie. And yeah, Terrence with his new body in a speedo was nothing I was arguing against either. In any case, if you've seen the movie - you will get the "Captain Bluepanties" joke. If you haven't, you should probably go see it. That would make sense after all.

I also made icons of my team. My boys. The Dallas Mavericks. Before anyone says anything, please go check their stats. Yeah, they're kinda' the best team in the league right now. *coughs*. Even though I did love them when they weren't.

Now, I was wondering - since I never really do requests if anyone had a photo - ONE photo that you would like me to make an icon of. Now, here is the catch -

it has to be a Golden Globe nominee/winner. I made the icons of the Golden Globe winner that I wanted to see icons of.

It can be of any nominee/winner. Yes, even Leonardo DiCaprio, but it can only be one picture. With that being said, I'm going to upload all the icons I worked on last night. And headers!
