So this was reassuring.

Yesterday I asked my dad if it would be weird to call someone who never gave you their number, by getting it from the phone book.

He responded, "No, I don't think so. You just call them up and say hello, and launch into a conversation. If they're like "How did you get my number!?" that's when you say "Oh, from a bathroom wall. Have a nice day!" and hang up."

My dad's been acting like a total prick lately, so it's nice to hear him say something like that and know he's still in there.
