What a day!
My dad and brother were out of town today, so I went out with my mom. We went shopping! I got...a lot...of new clothes. Gleeee.
I did not manage to convince my mother to let me purchase the giraffe-print underpants or the shirt that had the giraffes on, even after I explained to her that it was important. Woe.
Also, we saw The Strangers. Hoooly shit. Rotten Tomatoes describes it "a despicable and mean-spirited practical joke" and "a sadistic, unmotivated home-invasion flick". I completely agree with these assessments-- only I mean it in a good way. It was fucking scary. I mean, I love a good horror movie, but I haven't had one propel me out of my seat screaming in a hell of a long time. XD Seriously, it was excellent. And horrifying. Go see it. With a friend. In the daytime.
Also, then we went to IHOP. (Shut up, the omelettes are good.) Aaaand then our car died in the parking lot, and we had to call my ex-girlfriend's parents to come pick us up. The car is still there. Something's wrong with the AC fanbelt. Whoooo.
...So that sucked. But the rest of the day? Stellar! And I'm not letting car trouble ruin it for me, so I'm still in a good mood. :D Yay new clothes! (Also the new One Piece chapter is EPIC and I want to marry Luffy because he's seriously that amazing. It's true.)

I had to do it. After we left the theater my mom pointed at the creepy masked dude on the poster and went "Y HALO THAR" and I could not stop laughing all the way out to the car.
