Party time
Gashi soshite aisatsu!
That's Japanese for greetings and salutations. Welcome to Sasori's rock, everyone. I'm hiding in the spare room of my Aunt and Uncle's house to type this, as we are having a party and I'm supposed to be there (shh...don't tell). It is my cousin Emma and Cullen's first birthday. They're so cute:) Once again, I have forgotten everyone's name (I'm memoralogically challenged), but other than that, things are going well. I ate waaayyy too much though. We make too much food in this family. Anyway, tonight I am going to another party with my cousin Josh (not in that way, sickos) at his school. I plan to play Halo 2, make fun of ditzy girls in my mind, and eat too much again. It should be entertaining. I live in the Southwest corner of Michigan and had to drive to Indianapolis for the party, so I got to listen to the radio for four hours. The best song I heard was Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson, and I will most likely have it stuck in my head for a few days (hey, it's better than the theme song to Boy Meets World), but I don't mind. I'm working on a novel, but I haven't written anything since Thursday morning. My muse (the inspirational figure who whispers story ideas into my ear while I sleep) is on strike because I forgot to wash my hair on Friday and he doesn't want to get too close. I washed it today, though. I don't know what that guy's problem is. Lazy bum. Anyway, I have to go now because several small children are gathering around my ankles and want me to watch Shrek 2 with them. I swear, I'm only useful to them when I'm busy. (Cousin Sophia: Sasori! Come on!) Okay, okay! Don't get your Pampers in a bunch, I'm coming! Yeesh...
Aikou kara Sasori!
(Love from Sasori!)
Previews for tomorrow's update: Info on the party at Josh's school, plus an exclusive interview with my muse, Takusan Kangae (depending on whether or not he decides to WAKE UP!!!) (Takusan Kangae: What? Huh? Oh...sorry, was I asleep again?) (Sasori Katana: Yes! You're supposed to be inspiring me, not falling asleep on the job!) (Takusan: Hey, that's not a very motivational tone, you know.) (Sasori: Just get your imaginary butt off the couch!) (Takusan: Okay, okay! Muses have to sleep, too...)
Sorry about that. The interview will either be tomorrow or the day after. Takusan Kangae has some catching up to do. (Takusan: Hey, how'd you get all the way to Chapter 23 without me?!) (Sasori: Some of us have a schedule, Sir Snores-a-lot.) (Takusan: Well, excuuuse me!)
