I don't know whether to be amused or irritated.
My poor little brother. Our dad is just...completely clueless sometimes. Ro (said little brother) wanted to go to the movies with his "friend" Christine, and my dad is all like "Oh, I'll come too! Hey, ask her mom and he brothers if they want to come along!" and now Ro is like "But...but I...you're being...argh, fine!" and my dad is just like "What? :D"
I didn't tell him, because that would be violating the Older Sibling Code, which clearly states that no intervention must be made to prevent parentally-inflicted suffering and/or mortification of the younger sibling under any circumstances, even when they probably deserve a break and one is inclined to feel really sorry for them due to sympathy pangs brought on my remembrances of early relationship follies. But maybe I will after said suffering and mortification is over. You know, for the next time. Because I'm awesome like that.
Of course, in the mean time, I'm going to sit here and snicker at the thought while making gleefully immature little doodles of anvils falling on my baby brother's head.
