It occurs to me that I can talk about myself here, too.
I forgot that I have important updates in the life of me, so you're going to have to permit me to be boring and possibly sappy for a minute. Or don't, and go away, because I'm going to be even if I don't get permission. >_>
Anyway, yeah, so. I think Noah and I are dating now.
...yeah.
In conclusion, this does not mean that Mercy and I are not dating. But, I mean, I am okay with her basically molesting Vicky on a daily basis and she hasn't put up any protest to the pretty obvious fact that Noah and I cling to each other like needy, needy burrs. I think I will talk to her tomorrow. She is coming to my house for the weekend because her parents are leaving town. Woot.

See, we were at the library bitching about how none of our friends like us as much as we like them, and then we kind of had this conversation: "If it helps, I probably like you more than you like me." "Nah, I doubt that." "No, seriously." "Probably not, because I love you." "Well, I love you too. See?" "I bet I love you more, though. I wonder if there's a way to measure that outside of bad poetry..." "I do, though." "I know. So do I." [insert long pause here] "So you wanna go buy some Pepsi?" "Yeah, okay."
So uh, yeah. There was that. And then we made the epic quest to Evan's house later, and it was raining, and he gave me he his hat. The green and yellow stripey ski cap that says "Brazil" on the front that his uncle Kyle got him from Florianópolis. He made me wear it so my hair wouldn't get wet. And Evan was like "...she gets the hat? How come I never get the hat?" and Noah says "Because you're not special." And also on the way home he gave me his coat of awesome (it's corduroy and I want to keep it) and since he couldn't walk with us, he said to Evan "If anything happens to my Faith, I will hurt you. ^_^"
Also yesterday we went to the park and sat on the bleachers. And he put his head on my lap and let me pet his head fuzz. (It's addictive. I'm sorry.) And when we were walking home from there-- okay, see, we usually walk around with our arms linked because we're nerds, but he doesn't like people holding his hand. But he let me hold his hand. Well, he actually grabbed my hand.
And, uh. Yes. I think maybe we're dating or something now.
...but then you have him being gay, and me being gay, so it's like "I love you but you need to keep your hands off me. Well, other than like, hugs, because who doesn't love hugs?"
We suck.
I think this makes me happier than I've been in a while. It's...weird, but I'm willing to say it's pretty safely a good thing.
