Mother's Day
Gashi soshite aisatsu, everyone, and welcome to Sasori's Rock! (Konnichiwa!) That's Takusan Kangae, my muse. He's finally back from the 847th annual Muse Covention that was held this year in Egypt. (Sumimasen for not reporting earlier. Jetlag.) We understand. (Arigatou.) Anyway, unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that today is Mother's Day. (You live under a rock, Sasori.) Yes, but my rock has a calendar and cable television. Anyway, I thought that today would be a great opportunity to tell the world about my mom. (I've met her. Nice woman.) Since I'm too lazy to put my thoughts in paragraph form, here is a list of quick facts about the World's Greatest Mom (Oh, come on, how cliche can you get?) Shut up, this my blog. Okay, here we go:
MY MOM IS...
-An artist. She makes mosaic frames, tables, and lamps using broken glass. She also does some lovely sketches.
-A gardener. She's outside right now, planting, weeding, watering, and making the backyard flowery and colorful.
-Funny. I got my weird, sarcastic sense of humor from her. I'm still working on imitating her ability to make witty quips at a moment's notice, though.
-An interior decorator. One of her favorite activities is to tear the house apart and put it back together with a new flair.
-A fashion expert. Give her a turtleneck sweater, a pair of jeans, some heels and her choice of accessories and she'll come out looking like a style magazine model.
-One of my closest friends. No matter what kind of situation I'm in, I know that she'll always be there for me.
-The best mother a girl could ever ask for.
Well, that's my mom in a nutshell! (She's not the only one who should be in a nutshell...) What was that? (Nothing! Nothing at all! *grins innocently*) Right...well, Yukai Hahaoya no Di, everyone! See you next time at Sasori's Rock!
Aikou kara Sasori!
P.S: For those of you who don't know, Yukai Hahaoya no Di means Happy Mother's Day in Japanese. Arigatou for your time.
