One of those "general information" posts I hear folks talk about.

I seem to be accumulating a bunch of new LJ friends! They are all quite awesome. I am happy. Friending memes are apparently of the awesome-- who knew?

I am in the middle of writing a book. Well, maybe an eighth of the way in. Possibly a little less. It's slow going because there are loads of research to be done, but it's coming along gradually. And it's fun, so that's good.

YOU ALL NEED TO GO SEE DISTURBIA. It was so cool. I was afraid that it was going to suck, but...dude, I'm buying it when it comes out on video. Sure, it's a thriller, kind of a one-time shock thing, but it was GOOD and I would gladly go see it again right now. If I weren't in my pajamas. (It's Sunday, what do you want from me?) It was scary and funny and just entertaining as heck and the camera work was pretty damn good, and I loved the music, and for those of you who have seen it, at the end my girlfriend and I clung together and squealed "RONNIE!" Because we are dorks but it was good. Go see it. Now.

Ahem. On a less fantarded note, does anyone know where I can take out a hit on my girl's health teacher? He is making her life hell. Also, he is scary.

EDIT: A friend just pointed out to me that law enforcement does not take hitman requests lightly so I just wanted to let y'all know that that was, in fact, a joke, and I do not actually plan on getting my girlfriend's health teacher killed. I just don't like him much.
