Livin' For The Weekend

WELCOME/THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Gashi soshite aisatsu, and welcome to Sasori's rock! If you are a frequent visitor, it's nice to see you again. If you are joining us for the first time, my muse (Takusan Kangae: That's me!) and I would like to extend you a warm welcome. Takusan Kangae, the guy who just announced his presence (Takusan: I do that a lot) is my muse, or a mythical being that provides inspiration for artists by whispering ideas into their ear while they sleep. I am a writer, and therefore I need a muse to give me good ideas for stories and other stuff like that. Takusan and I may bicker a lot (Takusan: A LOT) but we work well together and I am glad to have him around, even if he is a bit of a nuisance. (Takusan: Hey, that was mean!) Shut up, this is my blog. Anyway, thank you for coming and enjoy the show! (Takusan: Somebody get me out of here!)

RANDOM RAMBLINGS

Ah, Friday. The beginning of the most treasured and welcomed time of almost everyone's life: the weekend. For children, Friday means two precious days off of school. For adults, Friday signifies the end of a tiring work week. For senior citizens, Friday is the bringer of the Old Timer's Weekend Deal at Burt's Breakfast Korner. No matter who you are, young or old, black or white, gay or straight, Republican or Democrat, fashionista or slob (Takusan: We get it already!) Right, sumimasen. Ahem. No matter who you are, when Friday rolls around it brings happiness and joy to the world. Unless you're an old fat guy named Jerry in a sweaty muscle shirt who watches T.V. in the basement. Then Friday just means the start of boring weekend programming. But other than that, Friday is a pretty cool day.

THINGS I DON'T UNDERSTAND

-Tomatoes. If they really are fruits (which, technically, academically, and biologically, they are) then why are they kept with the vegetables in the produce aisle?
-The fact that Tommy Jeans makes sweatshirts.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
(Or whenever I feel like putting a new one up)

Art is Art, isn't it? But then on the other hand, water is water! And East is East and West is West and if you take cranberries and stew them with applesauce they taste more like prunes than rhubarb does...Now tell me what YOU know. ~Groucho Marx

JIENDO (The End)

Aikou kara Sasori!
