Holiday Forecast

Gashi soshite aisatsu, everyone, and welcome to Sasori's Rock! (Konnichiwa!) For those of you living in tiny Asian countries or under rocks- (Uh...*gestures to surroundings*) *sigh* Or under rocks other than this one, today is Christmas Eve! (And you know what that means!) Ah, Christmas. A holiday of religious, commercial, and family, and traditional values. (And most importantly, presents!) How spirited of you, Takusan Kangae. (Hey, I've been good all year and I think it's about time I got my dues for it.) You've been good all year, huh? What about the time you let the mafia into the house? Or when you let your girlfriend drink all my Diet Coke? (Okay, that first one wasn't my fault, and she's not my girlfriend!) Uh-huh. Sure...why are you looking at me like that? Stop giving me that mischievous stare, it's creeping me out! (I have a defense against being made fun of about Amarini Kawaai.) Which is...? (I get to make fun of you about-) Say it and I wring your scrawny neck! (Fine, fine. Just remember thnat I have ammunition.) I hate you. (That's not a very Christmasy attitude, Sasori Katana.) Ha ha. Look, can we get back to the blog, now? (Sure. Gomenasai.) Good. Now, this Christmas Eve, my family and I will be celebrating by...Takusan, what did you just say? (Sure.) No, the other thing. (Gomenasai?) Hai, that one. I know that's the informal Japanese word for 'sorry', but you usually say sumimasen, the more formal version. (I decided to be a little more casual. I mean, it's not like were in some sort of uptight business setting.) True...okay, sure, we'll stick with gomenasai from now on. After all, we did make the unceremonious switch from adisosu to sayonara somewhere around post 40. Anyway, getting back to my previous statement... (Hai, please go on.) This Christmas Eve, my family and I will be celebrating by watching traditional Christmas movie specials, eating hors d'oeuvres, and opening one present each. Tomorrow morning, we will finish opening presents, sit around messing with said presents for a while, and later have Christmas dinner with some friends. (The day after that we'll go to Ohio to celebrate New Year with Sasori's mom's family, which means more presents!) Speaking of which, I got you something, Takusan. (Sweet! It's a brand new limited addition stamp from Japan! Arigatou, Sasori!) You're welcome, Takusan. (Here, I got something for you, too.) Really? Wow, arigatou! A new notebook and...and...what is this? (Inspiration! It comes in two packs now.) Awesome. (Merry Christmas, Sasori.) Merry Christmas, Takusan. And Merry Christmas from both of us to all of you! (And Happy Hannukkah and Kwanzaa, too!)

Aikou Kara Sasori! (And to all a good night!)
