Forgotten But Not Gone
Gashi soshite aisatsu, everyone, and welcome to Sasori's Rock. Unfortunately, today's update will be a short one. (She has a choir rehearsal at 4:00.) Hai, and I am not happy about it. Oh well, that's the way life goes, I guess. (Shouldn't you tell them about your new story?) Right, I almost forgot. I recently created an account at Fictionpress.com to host my various writings. My screen name there is Runic Binary, and if you enjoy reading my blog, I suggest you take a look at it. I've been told it's quite entertaining. (It should be. That inspiration came straight from yours truly, ladies and gentlemen!) I think I'm forgetting to mention something, Takusan. (Hai, I got that feeling too.) I think it's something very important...but what could it possibly be? (You know, I just can't imag- wait! I've got it!) You do? Quick, tell me before we run out of time! (*Whispers in Sasori's ear*) Of course! How could I have forgotten! It was so obvious! I'm departing for New York on the 19th. (Uh...Sasori? I just got this note from the subconscious.) Really? What does it say? (Let me see here. It says: Dear Sasori and Takusan, you are the two biggest morons I have ever met. Not to mention that you're both horrible at remembering things. I mean, even I know what day it is. Printed on the back of this memo is a copy of your mother's calendar for the month of November. Hopefully it wil serve as a helpful reminder to keep you both from melting in your own stupidity. Love, Kumori Shuga.) Okay...that was polite. *Flips note over* (Well, would you look at that.) Astounding. I'd almost forgotten. (Arigatou, Kumori, for reminding us that it is Wednesday.) Hey, is that the phone? Hang on, I'll get it. Hi, you've reached Sasori's Rock, this is Sasori speaking. May I help you? ...I see...Uh-huh...Right. Arigatou, I'll get right on it. (Who was it?) That was Kelly from the Bureau of Forgotten Information. (What did she have to say?) You're never going to believe this, Takusan: IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! (Wow, you're kidding! Whoa, maybe we are as forgetful as Kumori says.) Seems that way. Anyway, it's time for me to go. (Youki Tanjoubi, Sasori.) Arigatou, Takusan. We'll see you next time at Sasori's Rock!
Aikou kara Sasori! (So...will there be cake, by any chance?)
